TRAIL MASTER LLC,

We are located in Wasilla, Alaska along the Iditarod Trail--just 40 miles north of Anchorage. The cabins are located 2.5 miles south of Wasilla along the Knik Goosebay road. The Iditarod race headquarters is next to our location within easy walking distance. Lake Lucille is just down the

 road less than a mile.

The Mat-Su Valley is such a diverse area that you can be in the woods fishing and in just a matter of minutes be in the city. There are many great trails for hiking, snow machining, dog sledding, cross country skiing, golf, three miles away, Lake Lucille is a half mile away. Snow machine rentals, ATV rentals, boat rentals, grocery stores, movie theater, and a bowling lanes nearby. Just go across the street to the Famous Iditarod Headquarters and meet some famous Musher's and take a sled dog ride.  Pizza delivery close by as well as a great rib shack.  Most people end up wanting their own little cabin by the time they leave.

Alaska Birch Syrup Company LLC.   Alaska Birch Syrup Company site is  www.alaskasyrup.com .    Birch syrup is on the endangered food list.  The Birch Syrup Company is  trying to relocate  to where they can manufacture enough syrup for their demands just picking up new customers in Denmark and Japan. The weather change has had a great effect on syrup production in this area.  The original Iditarod racing trail is in front of our log cabin gift shop. The race once started right from the Headquarters which is across the street.  The Iditarod is the famous sled dog race to Nome, Alaska--1,049 miles. The Iditarod does not start from this location any more but the tour buses and tourists  in general come this direction in the summer to visit the Iditarod Headquarters which is located across the street from the Endeavor corner of our property.  The Iditarod offers dog sled rides and has a museum of history on Dog Mushing in Alaska.  Because of the lack of snow the Iditarod race has officially started in Willow the past few years permitting enough snow is available even in that location.

Wil our Miracle

Wil just let us know he knows how to read.  (He just turned 5 a few months ago and has W.S).   A secret he apparently has been keeping for quite awhile.  I just love the miracles he shows us day by day.  His teacher called me and said she had a sign at her desk by her computer.  My son looked at it and read it. It said "school is cool".  She was in shock.  To test him she handed him all the kids names on cardboard to hand out to the kids in his class.  He handed all twelve kids the right names. That night when he came home I wrote my name on paper and said what does that say?  He read it.  I then wrote his dads name.  He read that.  His teacher said he is reading sentences as well.  He has known the ABC since the age of two but I didn't know he was working on processing such as reading and spelling. He has done things like this so many times since being born.  He counted to 10 right before turning two years old  so he has always shocked us. He learns in secret and then surprises us with his knowledge.

Thank you, God.
